Our Inspiration

Art and glass have always inspired me. I find it fascinating that a single creation can change the mood in a room and command such attention.

It’s a fascination that led me out of the corporate world into the magical one of glass. But it was my corporate experience that taught me the true value of customer service and tuning in to people’s needs. This, together with my affinity to glass, inspired the birth of JAGA.

When I thought about the JAGA product, I knew it had to be standout. As an avid traveller I’ve been spoilt with a wonderful display of glass products and techniques, making it easier to select the most distinctive creations. JAGA is my way of bringing the world’s creativity into the everyday with products that are functional as well as unique. 

As all creators will appreciate, there is sometimes a chasm between vision and its ultimate expression. In an effort to narrow that gap, I work closely with artists and designers around the world whose passion strongly mirrors mine.

Now it is my desire to share that passion with you. It is not enough to say, “we are doing our best”. We have to succeed in doing what is necessary. That’s why we will always listen and respond to your needs. As a valued customer, communicating with you is at the heart of our collective expression.
